Despite its ease of usage, in Gmail, there is no single click solution to view all the unread mails. But there is an easy indirect way by using Gmail’s search. Here is how.

• Click on "Show search options" beside Search buttons on the top of the page. This will display a search options form.
• In the "Search" combo box, "All Mail" would be selected by default.
• Click on the down arrow and select "Unread Mail".
• Leave rest of the boxes blank.
• Now hit the return key or click the "Search Mail" button. It'll display all the unread mails.
